Meet MATHIS.
He is an independent artist based in London. As a kid, he learned to play by ear. After many attempts to grasp the concept of music notation at school, he used this ability to pick up tunes to hide amongst his classmates– until the fateful day he was discovered for just playing along with everyone else. He started to play piano in the hall at break time. Nobody could dictate the music now! This went on for years, and progressed further when he went on to secondary school to discover computer music. This was a huge turning point, and countless more lunches were spent figuring out the endless possibilities of digital recording.
Fifteen years on, things are much the same. Now with some impressive accolades in live and session work with the likes of Dee C. Lee, Duke Keats and PM Warson, he brings you his own music for the first time. ‘Tell Me (All The Things)’ is the first release from his forthcoming full length release, set to come out later in the year.
