Matthew Dakoutros is a violin tutor, performer as well as composer from Athens, Greece. He has worked in several music institutes for more than 10 years, most notably in the National Conservatory as a violin and chamber music teacher, as well as director of the student orchestra. His music has been used in indie films and documentaries, and he has performed as a solo artist or part of large or small ensembles. He is also the main songwriter of the progressive metal band art of simplicity and has been a member of several rock/metal bands such as Empty Frame and Wastefall, while he has appeared in many other albums.
