Matthew Halbert-Howen has played a supporting role in other people’s music, performing in bands, contributing to projects, and helping bring other artists’ visions to life. In 2024, he stepped away from those collaborations to focus on his own music. What began as raw demos in the Spring became a full album by the Fall, recorded, produced, and mixed in his basement. Along the way, he found his own voice, singing, writing, and performing, while friends contributed to production, instrumentation, and writing, making the project a collaborative yet deeply personal endeavor.
