The story of Maurice Keith starts out the summer of July 1985 in New Orleans, La. Although, unconsciously being surrounded by many family member who were musically talented and successful, he first was encouraged by a neighborhood friend Stanley Major while in middle school to try to create a rap song. Within a week he would go on to rap and performing what he had written in front of the entire school in the gym at a pep rally winning over his peers respect and solidifying himself as hot up and coming rapper within his local hometown community of St. Bernard Parish Violet, La. The lost of his mother at the age of 17 shook his entire world up so much he lost focus of his pursuit as an artist for sometime. Devastation would soon bring opportunities for change. In 2005 Maurice would relocate to Texas during Hurricane Katrina, where after various attempts to pursue a career based off of college and working a 9-5, his calling to commit to expressing his talents as an artist prevailed.
