Somewhere between the gears and the ghosts, a bard was built instead of born.
Mechanical Bard is a clockwork storyteller with an electric guitar and a voice made of steam and static. It doesn't sing about itself. It sings about the world: the wars on the evening news, the heroes nobody remembers, the ships that never came home and the legends told around a table at midnight.
Every album is a new tale. The debut, The Map Is Bleeding, is a melodic metalcore protest album about the human cost of the wars raging today: the conscripts, the children in the shelters, the refugees who still carry the keys to houses that are gone. It takes no side except the side of the people who pay the price. Next on the road: a voyage into pirate metal, with tales of storms, treasure and bad decisions at sea.
The sound shifts with every story, but the bard stays the same: heavy riffs, twin guitar leads, screams in the verses and choruses built to be sung back.
