Medir Bonachi Banús is a pianist and composer whose music explores intimacy, silence and the emotional power of simplicity. Rooted in the piano, his work draws on minimalism, repetition, texture and melody to create contemplative spaces where emotion can unfold naturally. As a pianist, he has developed a versatile career performing as a soloist, chamber musician and collaborator with orchestras and ensembles. In recent years, composition has become an increasingly central part of his artistic practice. His original music explores themes of desire, memory, love and the tension between what we long for and what we can reach. Through a restrained and deeply personal approach to the piano, Medir creates music that seeks beauty in simplicity and meaning in what remains unsaid.
