Born in 1996 and raised in the South Florida neighborhood of Melrose Park, Montae Harri$ was making music by the time he was 12, recording and mixing all of his songs. His earliest songs appeared online in 2016, but it wasn’t until his breakout single ‘QUICK’ that the rapper began to really take off. The catchy song lead to a chain of many other culminating to Montae’s debut project ‘WE DON’T DIE”. The EP was released amidst a short film broken up into two music videos entitled ‘KIDNAPPER’ and ‘YOUNG & RECKLESS’, showing Montae’s his creativity and versatility. Sometimes going more into aggressive styles and sometimes leaning toward more sung melodic tunes, Montae’s approach shifts from song to song. ~ Christan McCoy, WAF
