Australian-born, German based musician and producer Michael Mortlock blends together seamlessly between the borders of acoustic and electronic soundscapes. A soundtrack for his own cinematic and visual experience, translations for his strongly sensitive and emotional perspective on life. Mortlock switches seamlessly between visual arts and musical composition. Much of his time over the twelve years in Europe has involved composition, photography, video and graphic design for a variety of fellow musicians including Mogli, Rey&Kjavik, Len Faki, Clemens Christian Poetzsch and Sven Helbig to name a few. Michael took a lot of his early musical inspiration from the European Electronic music scene, and his relocation to Germany opened up the scope of what he could achieve. Now, with the establishment of his own independent label andflows, MORTLOCK released two new singles in 2021. His upcoming EP Deep Water is a collaboration between Mortlock and Tasmanian based singer PARKER.
