Mutazione is an Italian alternative metal band. The band was formed in 2022 in Lecce by Domenico Ragone aka D’Aragona (music & arrangements) and Salvatore Caracuta aka Karak (voice & lyrics). An almost chance meeting for a live show together sanctioned the decision to create on a new unreleased project, marked for the most by alternative metal sounds accompanied by post-grunge overtones. In the songs one can immediately recognize the influences that characterized the training and musical experience of both: distorted guitars, catchy and iridescent groove, lyrics containing that “pathos" hidden between metaphors and similes in which the listener can identify with. Mutazione offers a real journey towards the exploration of the imaginary and "the unspoken," sometimes with autobiographical descriptions representing the succession of certain events. The search for empathy with the listener is the challenge the band sets out to achieve.
