Pete (aka Pedro) is a musician from New Paltz, NY, who has been writing music and playing in bands for about 30 years. Pete wrote music for a band called NCM who did a few US tours and played SXSW 5x. During this time he worked with Clown from Slipknot and Earl Slick from David Bowie. Pete has also had his songs used on TV shows such as The Real World and Parental Control. For 25 years, Pete has practiced spiritualism, yoga, and meditation, influencing his music and writings. In 2016, he began writing music to inspire fun and dancing while exploring human pain and sociopolitical topics, leading to the creation of Whoah!, which blends various musical styles. The rule of Whoah! is, "If you can't dance to it, we don't play it." Whoah! now has committed members, a growing following, and plans to expand and tour in 2025, having played many local festivals.
