Some have called her a Prodigy and even a Virtuoso, but what she actually calls herself is “The Voice Behind The Music”. N.I.K.K.I. da Jukebox, born Nicole Whitehead, has been honing her skills to become a musical representation of herself. She has diligently defined her own style, and has since become a human jukebox. N.I.K.K.I. is an alumna of Berklee College of Music, in Boston, where she studied vocal performance and where her music peers gave her the name Jukebox. Her various vocal styles, arrangements and delivery, along with her songwriting and production helped her to forge her own path because she understands that her voice is an instrument, and she uses it as the tool it is to move music and a message forward to keep listeners listening AND thinking. Da Jukebox says of herself that she strives to be the definition of an artist: that is a person whose creative works shows sensitivity and imagination, but also reflects the times.
