Born in Jamaica West Indies in a little country village Top Hill in St Catherine, he grew up around a lot of musical inspiration from reggae to soul, from pop to rock and roll, loving most popular music and melodies. He did some vocal training and tried to take music seriously in his younger years but put it aside for the corporate world when things weren’t coming together, as a member of the Meadowvale SDA youth choir in Kingston Jamaica he sharpened his musical talent. While attending Charlemont High, he was very active as a student council representative in his high school years, in college, he worked part-time to pay his tuition. From 1999 to 2000 he was selected as a youth ambassador, representing the Jamaica National Youth Service when they partnered with Canada's World Youth, for an exchange program. He’s been married for over 8 years to his wife Ferne, they have a son A.J., who at a young age, is already excelling in creative thinking like his father.
