notreallymanic

Cape Town, South Africa

Born and living in Cape Town, South Africa notreallymanic is a mix of the 2016 soundcloud era and an experimental approach to darker, ambient melodies fuelled by early 2000s metal. Lyrically manic speaks about traumatic past events as well as daily struggles with mental health and substance abuse, always using a unique sense of poetry and combining harmozined melodies to further convey the message he is trying to spread to the world. All in all, notreallymanic is a form of pure self expression, as well as guidance and place of security for those struggling with their own demons
