“Trying To Express What’s Wrong Through My Playing.” Ommar Ney is a solo musician from Long Beach California with a tropical, alternative, folk, ambient, rock sound. Inspired and influenced by bands/artists such as Linkin Park, Nine Inch Nails, Mike Shinoda, Guns N’Roses, Pink Floyd, and Nirvana. Although being influenced by all of these artists, Ney has his own unique original sound that hardly resembles many of his influences. Mixing alternative rock with acoustic folk, tropical rock, and ambient all together to make his own self expressive sound.
