Amsterdam, Nederland

Osman Meyredi is an Italian-born, Amsterdam-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, composer, singer and producer, and every note you hear, he wrote and played himself. Funk bass lines meet soul melodies, rock guitars, disco energy, electronic textures and cinematic layers, often in a single song, until they blend into something personal, honest and never quite predictable. His signature is the solo, on piano, guitar or bass. It’s where a song opens up, the walls fall away and the music finds open sky, carrying the same curiosity and love of freedom that once pulled him out of the mountains. Classically trained on double bass at Trento’s conservatory, he also plays guitar, piano, drums and synths. He toured the UK with Frank Zappa’s longtime vocalist Ike Willis and shared the stage with Blues Brothers saxophonist Blue Lou Marini. In 2020 he graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, covering pedagogy, arrangement, band coaching, vocal performance, jazz piano and music production.
