Ottomatick (born, Gaige Hermanson), is an indie rapper originally from Michigan who has developed a well rounded style music not limited to genres often reflecting hip hop and alternative. Growing up in Michigan, Hermanson was brought up on punk rock, metal, and hip-hop music. After a falling out with his employer and university he bought a one way ticket to Costa Rica and began backpacking, often writing poetry in journals. After years of traveling and farming cannabis, Hermanson moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue a full time music career.
