I build songs the same way I built Legos when I was a kid... I would often feel restricted or bored by following pre-set instructions so a lot of the time, I combined mismatched sets and pieces to make a world of my own. As an adult, I approach the guitar in a similar way and the result is intuitive music direct from the soul. Based in Hawai‘i, I also teach freediving and draw inspiration from the ocean, eastern philosophy, and sociology. Sometimes a melody calls for words—other times, the guitar says it all. This channel is about presence, process, and finding beauty in the moment through music.
