I create music as Skaldr — a solo project shaped by my Manchester upbringing and my life now in South Wales. Based in Bridgend, I blend the cinematic nostalgia of classic video game soundtracks with the heaviness and precision of modern metal and djent. My sound lives at the intersection of melody and machinery, where retro gaming influences, progressive metal, and experimental electronic music collide in a mix of chiptune emotion and low-tuned brutality.
Alongside Skaldr, I’m the lead guitarist, vocalist, and producer for Hope Until Silence Kills (H.U.S.K.), a heavy progressive project where I explore extreme dynamics, emotional intensity, and technical control. With a background in Popular Music Technology and a deep passion for sound design, Skaldr has become my creative playground — a space to build digital worlds, carve aggressive textures, and dive into nostalgic themes without any boundaries.
