Hey friends! I am Ashley. This artistic endeavor that I started in 2021 is called "pity the siren". My work as of late is all acoustic, and generally recorded and performed with guitar, keys, and cello/violin (soon). Wanna hear a fun fact? I have not read sheet music in years, and instead, I trained my ear to develop relative pitch to help me write my music. All of my songs as of late are all entirely updated by me - lyrics, music, production. In August 2021, I came out as bisexual to my family, friends, and the general public (now, you). My first EP, "while you were asleep", released on January 28, 2022. This EP documents the following months after my coming out - the emotions, the thoughts, the regrets and pain are all documented in these songs. Wherever you are, whenever you list, I hope these songs connect to you in some way, heal you in some way, and evoke a message, feeling, desire in you. These songs were once mine, but now are yours.
