Hi there all that may love a story about a stranger. Growing up listening to your parents music can have a profound effect on your future taste and knowledge of music. I was one of those children who grew to know the likes of Elton John, David Bowie, Pink floyd,The Rolling Stones, Beatles, to name a few of the greats! But predominantly 60s, 70s and 80s music. I lived a stones throw away from EMI records in Middlesex England where a lot of magic happened. School was ok for the most part and I did well , but it was always music and playing instruments and recording songs that I wanted to do. I started with a guitar and a tape deck then a 4 , 8 and 16 track and then a keyboard!!! Wow my Christmas’s all came at once. A microphone came next and on it went until today! Got a lot of work ahead with a huge amount of accumulated songs and new gear so wish me luck and I hope you enjoy and maybe someone may be inspired or on the same path?
