My name is Jasmine, artist name Minanima. My artist name is a combination of 2 words: Mina was my childhood nickname, and Anima is a concept in Jungian philosophy, which inspires many of the themes within my work. I have lived at opposite ends of the world, South Korea and England, and my musical inspiration is just as global. Though my taste in music is not bound to genre, I'm drawn the most to Jazztronica. My aim is to create music that is distinctive, but still accessible to everyone. Something that speaks to what we are all experiencing right now. I know that music has always been and always will be a driving force for positive change, and I want to be a part of it.
