Tomball

The songs I have written for children were recorded during 20 years while I was teaching as a bilingual teacher and high school Spanish teacher at the Friday Night Lights High School, Permian High School, in Odessa, Texas. I was often baffled at how quickly my students learned through music, chants, and rhymes, and how engaged they were when we sang. My first renditions were recorded on cassettes, then we graduated to CDs, and now it's being streamed on more than 20 streaming platforms. I'm grateful many talented musicians who helped me record and produce this music, and to several angels and saints for their prayers. I live in the Houston area now with my husband, Oscar, who has sponsored me and my music all these years. I have a son, Dr. Benjamin Quiroz, who lives close by in Cypress with his family, and a daughter, Kimberly, a school counselor, who lives in Odessa with her family. I love to garden, tend to my many plants, and spend time watching my six grandkids become adults.
