RAENA hails from the dark mysterious North; born in Russia, living in Finland for years and currently based in the pulsing industrial and electronic heart of Berlin. She loves to blend extreme genres such as pop, metal, and R&B, combining moody synths and ominous melodies.
RAENA just released her first dark pop single this February, and has another in the pipeline, “Koi No Yokan” to be released this spring. Both singles were produced by New York Times acclaimed Norwegian pop producer Farao. “End Up Dead” features teasing tongue-in-cheek lyrics laced over hard hitting beats, while “Koi No Yokan” dives deeper and darker into industrial pop.
