Having set his foot on the Hong Kong blues scene for over a decade, Ram Cheung devotes his time and energy to blues music with his firm commitment to upholding authentic, traditional blues style. As an enthusiastic blues guitarist and lead vocalist, Ram managed to set up his own 4-piece electric blues band Then You Suffer, acoustic blues duo JR Blues Line, and also blues sextet Shake That Thing, widely infused with his diverse taste of experimental flavours. He also enjoyed performing with numerous celebrated blues and jazz musicians, including Henry Chung, Eugene Pao, Tommy Chung, Sybil Thomas, Tsang Tak Hong, Alan Kwan, etc. Ram is probably one of the busiest bluesmen in town.
