Bay Area native Phil Q, a.k.a. ‘R&B Phil’ is a Filipino singer, songwriter, producer, and musician who creates romantic 90’s R&B ballads with twists of electronic, alternative and hip hop, blending the best of each genre to create his own sound. He also writes songs about depression, anxiety and mental health to show that we may not be perfect; we may not be the smartest person in the room, but we can still give value!
His on-stage presence is something to behold. Not only can he switch between piano and guitar performances, but he can also create MPC beats under the spotlight! He has truly redefined the term, “solo artist.” He aims to take these skills to become one of the next-generation Filipino-Americans to take the stage in the Grammys!
