I’m Rodger Canterbury, a country artist who writes and sings about real life, the hard roads, long days, family, love, and everything that comes with trying to build a good life. I’m a truck driver, so I know what it feels like to spend five days away from home, put in long hours behind the wheel, and miss the people who matter most. A lot of my music comes straight from those experiences, including the sacrifices my wife and family make right along with me. My sound mixes modern country with Southern rock, country hip-hop, and a little soul. I like songs with strong hooks, real emotion, and stories people can actually relate to. I’m not trying to sing somebody else’s story. I’m singing mine. My music is for working people, truck drivers, husbands, wives, parents, and anybody who knows that even when the road gets hard, life can still be damn good.
