Roma Luxemburg is an electronic music producer who spent a year
living in Armenia — and came back with an album.
"5165" — named after the height of Mount Ararat — is a five-track
journey through ancient Armenian instruments: duduk, tar, kamancha,
zurna, and dhol. Each track is a chapter of a nation's soul:
memory, wisdom, fire, unity, and power.
I lived in Armenia for a year, and the sound followed me home.
