Mumbai-born Londoner saachisen creates lyrical alt-pop music with lush vocal harmonies, inspired by her years singing sacred music in a quintessentially English chapel choir. Her songs have won support from the likes of Atwood Magazine and BBC Introducing and have picked up several songwriting awards, such as PRS for Music’s Lynsey de Paul prize and a Semi-Finalist place in the International Songwriting Competition. With influences from Suzanne Vega to Lauv, her emotive music has also seen her take the stage at one of her city’s biggest events, performing to 10,000 people in Trafalgar Square for Pride in London 2019.
