Sam Golba is a queer, indie musician, songwriter, and producer based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They experiment with bending genres and twisting them together to create unique pieces of art. Through their preferred mediums of piano, guitar, ukulele, and electronic synthesis, they convey messages of life and love in queer spaces. Inspired by other LGBTQ+ creators such as Pete Wentz, Lady Gaga, Halsey, and Billie Joe Armstrong, they hope to redefine what it means to be a rock star in an age where the traditional rock band is fading from the public eye. They take pride in their thought-provoking lyricism and aim to be loud and proud about their experiences as a trans and non-binary gay man through their art.
