Shooting Star is about an engulfing, toxic love where beauty and pain exist side by side. It centers around the lonely feelings of two things being true at the same time, of witnessing darkness and lightness wrapped tightly around each other. I recorded it in my DC apartment and got production help from Sean Clarke, with whom I connected via a music production group on Facebook. The song opens with a single electric guitar, builds to a cathartic chorus with drums, piano, and other colorful instrumentation, and closes out as intimately as it began.more

warm is about moments in life that feel so good that, while you’re in them, you forget about the bad. I wrote it while sitting on the old heater in my room - literally so warm that I couldn’t remember being cold.
