Sarah Pearson, professionally known as Esspi, is a folk-pop, alt-pop, and indie-country artist writing songs for the ones who feel unseen — the long drive home, the 2am spiral, the quiet decision to keep going anyway. Her sound sits between the acoustic realness of America and the clean, confident pop sensibility of Wham!, with the emotional honesty of artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Lizzy McAlpine. Esspi's music moves through expectation, confusion, and quiet strength — always arriving somewhere steadier than it started. Her songs meet listeners exactly where they are, then remind them they'll get through it. Pearson began her music education independently, far removed from any industry pipeline, building her artistry from the ground up. Her debut single "Tainted Heart" earned international press attention and marked the beginning of a project defined by honesty and intention. More new music is on the way.
