Sara Ramos Contioso is professor doctor in composition at the Conservatory of Music in Seville and researcher at Granada University. Her academic career is based on a solid educational background, including the special prize on graduation (1998) in Composition and Music History, a pre-doctoral research stay at the Humboldt University of Berlin (DAAD scholarship, 2007) under the supervision of Dr. Danuser, a postgraduate course at the Liceu Conservatory (2006-2008) and the PhD Extraordinary Award in Granada University (2019). In the field of creation, she has premiered in the contemporary music cycle of Córdoba (2005), in the Fex of Granada (2010), in the MAHS conferences of the RCSM Victoria Eugenia of Granada (2011-2017), in the cycle dedicated to women composers that was organised by the Conservatorio Superior de Jaén (2021), at SGAE Mompou Auditorium (2022), Edgar Neville auditorium in Málaga (2022) and Eduard Toldrá in Barcelona (2022).
