Sayò Àlàgbé hails from the ancient Ògbómòsó - the second largest city in Òyó State after Ìbàdàn. He is a a practical down to earth journalist, songwriter, musician, script writer, dialogue editor, film producer, author, publisher and radio consultant.
‘Ìrántí (Reminisce)’ is Sayò Àlàgbé’s maiden musical album that marks his expedition into the music arena; explores from cultural folklore to socio-economic and historical genre. With insights, the four-track album is very classical, and philosophically entrenched. He touches topics that eulogies his mother, explores his hometown’s exploits and valiant men, and praises his longtime musical influence and friend, King Sunny Ade.
