Growing up in a musical home and the son of story tellers - both formal and informal - writing music in my front yard as a teenager felt as natural as could be. As I grew older, I found it was the best way for me to tell my story in a way that made sense and wasn't "too much". So I kept at it. And now I find myself writing songs to keep a light on for myself and anyone else walking in the dark.
