I lived in and around Chicago, IL most of my life. Growing up during the 60's and 70's was surreal with all the protests and social changes and especially the music. I listened to everything from folk to jazz. It is hard to name who has influence my taste in music the most, but I'd say tops on that list would be Joni Mitchell, John Coltrane, and Steely Dan. As a guitarist I try to imitate the stylings of Joe Pass, George Benson, and of Jimi Hendrix.
