In 2011 I started this proudly South African brand, and called it skêrtips, and later when Instagram came along added @sarkasties to the name. According to the "fans," it is seen as one of the most popular & well-known entertainment platforms on social media & the through pout the entertainment industry of South Africa. The main focus is on creating entertaining, relatable, original & comedic content for people to enjoy. We create online content, videos, memes, adverts, host & MC events, collaborate with SA celebs, and much more. This all is mostly done in a comedic or satiric way, as there is enough depressingly serious content for people to deal with. We also try to be relevant to the type of content South Africans enjoy and indulge in. We show the world a modern South Africa.
