Ernest Mokgoatsane known professionally as Slvughter (pronounced: Slaughter), is a Mozambican-born rapper, song writer and record producer based in South Africa. Slvughter's passion for music ignited at an early age, he started rapping as well as writing music in the fifth grade, in 2009. His career began in high school when he was introduced to his first studio session in tenth grade(2014) by his former crew(The Elements) members Captain Trigger and Nico. In June 2020, Slvughter released his debut studio album, "Purple" containing 12 tracks which produced the hit singles, "Purple Portal" and "Young". It features appearances from artists such as T Svp, Amapiano artist, Lady Du and a poet, She.Rose. He then released an Alienated Edition with songs that featured X Caloway, an American singer, Vctraa and Nigerian rapper, Micklef. The edition features 7 tracks with production from an American producer, Svgar Beats who produced 4 beats.
