Born in the out coast of Dire Dawa, Ethiopia. Abdela, better known by his stage name "Solotellem" found his love for music as a youngster listening to his uncle Muhammed IPAD in Seattle. from nodding to words he couldn't understand, solo later grew to discover personal passion to record music. Devastated by the passing of his family members and friends, Solo delivers his music from an authentic place inspired by legends in American hiphop and Ethiopian pop stars alike. His favorite artists include August Alsina, Nocap,Bryson Tiller, JI, liltjay along with Ethiopian artists such as Tedy Afro, Tamrat Desta and Taju Shurrube.
