SooperFlat sounds like an eclectic mix of progressive yet funky roots rock because it’s in their DNA. In a Midtown Memphis sonic laboratory, a three-way love child of The Black Keys, Phish and The Clash was spawned and incubated in the summer of 2019. The old friends running this mad collaboration named this super baby SooperFlat, and it’s triploid chromosomes give SooperFlat its genre-bending powers unavailable to normal bands. Listeners at first may think what they hear is an accident, but it happens over and over again every time SooperFlat makes music.
