Spookybones is a two piece power-pop band from the suburbs of Chicago formed by duo Jeffrey and Rachel Bones, named after and dedicated to their cat. Formed in Aurora, Illinois, the band relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to record their first album, Spookykitty. Musical influences range from shoegaze, indie pop, a heavy dose of 90s alternative and college rock & pop, and everything in between. The band's style has also been dubbed "Pet Rock." :)
