Stamátis is a Greek-South African composer, performer, multi-instrumentalist and MD. His music ranges from film and theatre soundtracks to R&B/Soul and jazz. They’re currently working as Musical Supervisor for AIDA Cruises, and composing the music for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” for Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, starring Kerry Ellis and Jonathan Hyde. In-between, they’re writing and producing an R&B/Soul album with Rae Morgan for their band, Rae & the Seraphim; gigging around London as a pianist/vocalist/saxophonist for The Bakelites jazz band; and working on solo music. Stamátis started performing live when they were 14 years old, playing piano and singing in a 10-piece jazz band with their parents. They started writing music at an early age and quickly knew they wanted to write film scores and play jazz.
