Suyash Kinjal Medh B. A. (Honours) graduated in Music Performance from Middlesex University London after he acquired a Diploma in Music from KM Music Conservatory (KMMC) in Chennai (more popularly known as A. R. Rahman’s School of Music). Known for combining musical influences from various drum kit repertoires, Suyash has developed his own style and skill set which is unique. Suyash has always seen himself as a keen problem solver, which is one of the reasons he first took up studying Industrial Design before he changed streams to music. Even though these two streams might seem very different on the surface, the combined application of theory, knowledge and creativity is necessary to thrive in these fields. Even in music, Suyash’s creative process is quiet clear, simple but diverse. The drum kit is the back bone of every song, but every song will not have the same skeleton, hence the “back bone” has to be designed in such a way that the drums profoundly support the song, whether it be
