Trent Vine’s sound has been described across the internet as “New Wave Pop” but Trent himself has many punk and rap influences, which means some of his songs lean further in one of those directions than standard Pop. Trent Vine appeared first in mainstream media on Australian Idol in 2024 but his music had already gained some traction in the Asian market as well as the US before the show airing. Trent was a snowboarder before starting his musical journey and to this day still works with a Japanese Snowboard wear brand called MARQLEEN as a model and translator.
