The Thing From Spring is a band from Ballarat Victoria. the project was founded in mid 2019 by song writer Sam Beulke when he moved to Ballarat from Melbourne where he'd played in various friends bands as a drummer, guitarist, bassist and singer for 7 years. In this project Beulke had set out to finally record and release his own music. Loosing momentum many times, The Thing From Spring's first album titled "Thingo's" was finally released in May 2023. Beulke has put together a band of friends Cass O'Mara, Shannon Anwyl, Nick Schultz and Lachy Webb to perform these songs that were almost entirely recorded by himself at home with the assistance of friend James Ramsey engineering, Tim O'keefe drums on "Jamon Sugi" and partner Sophia Hayes vocals on "Candy Garden".
