TimbreSubterranean is a loose collection of writers and musicians from the northern Alleghenies, located in northwestern Pennsylvania and southwestern New York state. Our collective experiences include collaborations over many years with both local and nationally recognized songsmiths and musicians, each of us with a unique background of experiences, but also with a common interest in American traditional roots and popular music. We write and record with joy and a passion that only song can stir.
Our music reflects our emotions and observations of events and people in our daily lives. We believe that all, regardless of race, gender and creed have the inalienable right to be heard without interference of self-expression. This right extends to all regardless of the point of view to be offered.
Hope you enjoy our music. If you do, turn it up. If you don’t, turn it off, but don’t bother trying to cancel or silence us. We’re not going away.
