I was born in central Pennsylvania where I still reside in a small town near Hershey, also known as "Chocolate Town USA"! Growing up in the '60s and '70s I was exposed to many styles of music but felt particularly drawn to the popular singer/song-writers of the day. These artists had a tremendous ability to marry poetic lyrics with their vocal and musical styles. I was a drummer at the time and it wasn't until around 1980 that I picked up my first acoustic guitar, motivated by a desire to reproduce an emerging genre of music: Contemporary Christian. As my skill set improved (and my faith grew), I began to compose my own songs, a hobby/ministry that continues to this day. If you listen to one of my songs I hope you walk away with one of the following experiences: you feel like you've just heard a timeless truth proclaimed; you managed to spend 3 or 4 minutes of your day in the presence of your Creator; if you're not a Christian you've been moved to consider this faith for your life.
