I grew up in central Pennsylvania where I still reside, in a small town near Hershey, aka "The sweetest place on Earth". The '60s and '70s provided exposure to many styles of music but I felt particularly drawn to the wonderful singer/song-writers of the day. These artists had a tremendous ability to marry poetic lyrics with their vocal and musical styles. I was a drummer at the time and it wasn't until around 1980 that I picked up my first acoustic guitar, motivated by a desire to join an emerging genre of music, Contemporary Christian. I eventually began to compose my own songs, a hobby/ministry that continues to this day. If you listen to one of my songs I hope you walk away with one of the following experiences: you feel like you've just heard a timeless truth proclaimed, you managed to spend 3 or 4 minutes of your day in the presence of your Creator, or you've been moved to love others a more deeply.
