Newcastle’s brightest new indie rock talent Tom Jack Clark is a self-producing singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. With influences ranging from 90s alt-rock legends like Jeff Buckley, The Smiths, Oasis, and Radiohead, to modern acts like Arctic Monkeys, and Inhaler, Clark’s powerful tenor voice and self-reflective lyrics match up to his ethereal chorus-filled riffs and swallowing guitar-driven walls of sound. His music is deeply personal, touching on themes of insecurity, the flaws of the music industry, and the challenges of growing up, all while offering a message of hope for other artists facing similar struggles. Without industry connections or a musical family background, Clark’s journey stands as a testament to the power of perseverance and authentic artistry in a world that often overlooks the creative voices that matter most.
