I would like to share with you something unusual (of course it depends on who is looking at it - something else for sure).
Holidays 2019. "Polish Radio Experimental Studio" appears (a few months earlier) as a sample pack for Ableton Live in the form of sound samples from the '50s, '60s, '70s. On this occasion was announced a competition for a piece based on these samples. I must honestly admit that I started the recording quite late, less than 5 days before the submission deadline, so it looked like a little "race against time" (the competition was announced six months earlier).
One of the organizers' messages was that the piece should refer with its character to those times, this place and the aesthetics of those decades. I made a personal challenge to myself - not to use any of my own samples outside of the shared package in my submission (although it was allowed). Considering the application deadline and the time I started it, I treated it as a kind of fun (but not without a little thrill ;))
Recently, while browsing files on my phone, I came across this song, and I thought "why not share it?"
So here it is! :)
Recorded at the end of August 2019, around my birthday (judging by the date of the last saved file, it's exactly ;))
Available on all digital platforms:
Made from "PRES" samples.
Application for the competition of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
