Tansverse is Nico Hemmer. Nico played in locally (un)known groups such as Tube Luminescent and Haii with Marc Waanders ( RoRobot, Yes to All) in the 1980s-90s. Trained as a Sonologist and video artist at the Royal Conservatoire and the Vrije Academy in The Hague, and after a career in IT, it is now time for electronic beats with a message.
Heavily influenced by new- and no-wave acts like Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle, Section25 and Fad Gadget, alongside classical Music by Beethoven, Stravinsky, Satie and Kurt Weill, he brings a new sound by reusing and redefining the old.
