Dawn Treader is an indie musician from Ontario, Canada who is hellbent on heaven, for all of us. They are a rapper, singer, artist, stylist, queer community member, and human. The mission Dawn is on in life is to find the things we as a culture put unnecessarily in opposition to each other, and shine a light on them. Their art and music acts as a deconstruction of the binaries we create; Heaven and Hell, masc and femme, good and evil. Dawn is a creator who cannot think in black and white, and urges those who listen to them to seek out the empathy that exists in the grey space we so often overlook. With music that is laced with the passion and torment of a soul who doesn't quite fit into the systems we're all made to operate within, Dawn is an artist, relevant in 2021, who will take us into the future buy standing up and being a voice for those who exist in the fringe spaces. Speaking into the human experience of one, constantly being pulled to one side or the other, trying just to be.
